Rakhat Aliev: distortion of a mind

Everybody knows the fact that politics is a thing of dirt. But sometimes dirt of politicians becomes public domain. Common people often are ready to forgive “Olympians” their dirty clothes o their way to the power, but they never forgive moral outrage. But this is the thing that was neglected by one of the most popular and intriguing personalities of Kazakh political underground – Rakhat Aliev.

Initially he attracted attention by his status: accused to forty years of jail but quite successfully escaped punishment, the former ambassador and the former approximate to political Olympus. The story of “family conflict” has been the most intriguing over all, of course; especially in the West, where they like scandals of such type. Using of slogans so dear to Western years about struggle for human rights and democracy by Rakhat Aliev; his topic opuses like “I am the only do-gooder of the country, which has huge reserves of oil, so much needed in Europe”, helped love to him to expand with even more power.

In truth, during the last time it became clear, that into romance with democracy Aliev successfully integrated typical, from the point of Europeans, “methods of undeveloped countries” – corruption and perjury. This subject was the basis of ran-high unprecedented scandal, in which many well-known politicians of ruling party were entangled. Some received bribes from Rakhat Aliev to residence permit assignment; others helped him to white-wash money, stolen from Kazakhstan, through football clubs accounts. Thirds were ever worse – covering him from Kazakhstani justice, which demanded deportation of the criminal to own country. A special parliament commission even was established to find out implication of Austrian politicians to sharp relation with Kazakhstani outcast.

Step by step, romantic gilding of “innocent sufferer” is stripping from him, uncovering more and more unsightly facts to Europeans’ eyes.

Vienna’s confidence is decreasing in terms of Aliev’s guiltless in presented accusation, as he stating. Aliev even lose the status of “miserable relative, forcedly deprived with family”; that’s why all of his present cries like “oh me poor missing my babies”, wouldn’t’ take needed effect on credent European housewives. From one side, because during his cries Rakhat quickly made baby for his fiancée, then married her and even took her surname.

But there is another reason, why well-doing citizens of civilized world found themselves in some, to put it mildly, perplexity. They found that this “democratic angel in flesh” in times that were never painted yet with ideas of human rights, gladly used labour of sex slaves. It is hardly the least felony as murder for orthodox Europe; especially in light of recent scandals, which are connected with such kind of crimes.

As known, Rakhat Aliev was often travelled to Beirut, where his sister lived with her husband – Issam Horani, who is familiar to many intelligence services of many countries. One time he returned with uncommon souvenir – his brother-in-law presented his high-ranked relative with Ethiopian girl.

By the way, Ethiopian women are considered as very beautiful. They combine European face features with dark skin. Nowadays Naomi Campbell is regarded as the brightest example of this ethnicity. And the most famous Ethiopian woman in history is Queen of Sheba.

Precisely such queen was received by Rakhat Aliev in his full service.

He took her to Almaty, where he settled her on special love joy flat, where she was imprisoned for a long time. Captives of harems were living in such conditions in medieval time. Modern democrat Aliev, by all appearances, was complimented to feel himself like a sheikh, who owns an exotic concubine.

We can only guess, in what conditions poor girl found herself. Aliev raped her no less than for year. In this time she had time to master basics of Russian and managed to persuade the guard to call one of her compatriots. The latter lived in Kazakhstan for a long time and even was married to one of the locals; that’s why he never knew whom he opposed with by arranging escape of sexual slave. He got in touch with girl’s sister, who lives in Belgium, and she got to European human rights organization (by the way, those very organizations, to which now Aliev is appealing himself). To prevent huge scandal, Rakhat agreed to let away his concubine and she safely flew from Almaty to Brussels.

Her compatriot had worse situation – he was bounded to leave the country to escape punishment of hard-fisted mighty sheikh Rakhat Aliev.

This story is for sure not the only one on account of “good family guy and loving father of children”, who choosing concubines with Eastern glamour; however, descending to breach those very human rights, which he so hardly defending. It seems that human rights for Aliev meaning right of only one human – himself. The rest of people, whether they are Kazakhs or Austrians, or any other citizens of any other European countries, where he now enjoys travel, are only steps, which could be passed over to pursuit his sacred target – big and limitless power.
