Rakhat Aliev, former vice minister of Kazakhstan, supplied his men with fake passports of Honduras

Events surround crime convictions of Rakhat Aliev, former vice minister of Kazakhstan, arresting attention of global society for two years.

As Europeans already know, in the middle of 2008 the law courts of Kazakhstan has sentenced Rakhat Aliev (former son-in-law of Nursultan Nazarbayev, the president of Republic of Kazakhstan) and group of related persons to long term jailing for planning coup d'état.

Rakhat Aliev is now positioning himself as suffered innocent and being pursued for political reasons. Judging by information from the internet, at the present time Aliev stays in Vienna, where he was ambassador of Kazakhstan in Austria before the sentence of Kazakh Themis.

Naturally, Aliev's person, who was already called «Vienna sitter» by Kazakhstani mass-media, is too complex to define. First of all it's because of the fact, that Aliev made meteorical career in the state services, where he was holding posts in tax policies, special secret services and on diplomatic field.

Following the information from Kazakh mass-media, Rakhat Aliev has always been potent in his country. While been in the governance structures, Aliev could get any of official acts for his subordinates in short terms and only by single order.

Publications by independent journalists on cetrasia.ru website are very interesting in this connection. «MIA of Kazakhstan: Sergey Kleshenkov, national of Honduras and managing director of CTC television channel, arrested in Germany» dated 05.28.2002, «Honduras — the story continues» dated 06.03.2002, «Jokes aside. From this publications is following, that Sergey Kleshenkov, the manager of CTC TV Company, which was belong to Rakhat Aliev, travelled in Europe by fake Honduras passport!

It appears to be a normal situation! But Mr. Kleshenkov was initially arrested in Passau by German police in 2002 on suspicion in complicity of stealing 44, 000 euro Mercedes. And what a surprise for German police was it, when this person has presented Honduras passport number A092944, which was stolen earlier from passport bureau of San Pedro Sulla, Honduras, along with other blank passports in June to September of 2001. When Kleshenkov understood about what kind of situation he appeared to be, he also presented Kazakhstani official passport number S0007279, issued by MIA of Kazakhstan.

During the interrogation Kleshenkov didn't give any comprehensible answers about his nationality and reported to policemen that he is citizen of Honduras.

For clarification of this incident, embassy of Federal Republic of Germany had requested MIA of Kazakhstan about nationality of Kleshenkov. Representatives of MIA answered to their German colleagues, that Kleshenkov, former head of CTC TV channel, had been given the passport number S0007279 for assignment travels. However, Kazakhstani MIA in its answer also confirmed in April 2002 that Kleshenkov is not the citizen of Kazakhstan.

So, the situation has gone to dead-end?

According to information from independent journalists, Kleshenkov was given the passport according to letter of his mighty patron Rakhat Aliev to MIA, who was holding office of one of the heads of Kazakhstani intelligence.

It also become clear that Honduras passport had been given to Kleshenkov by Faris Aymadi, the Honduras ambassador in Jordan, who was in close relations with Issam Horani, citizen of Palestine and son-in-law of... Rakhat Aliev! Later on that ambassador was summoned to the homeland, arrested and charged in unauthorized distribution of fake passports of his country.

No matter of all strange things, the mysterious story of Kleshenkov's arrest by German law enforcers ended up with his release from prison on bail of 13, 000 US dollars with support from Aliev, and departure to his homeland.

Everything is looking good, but 3 years later Kleshenkov was found dead in Kazakhstan under strange circumstances...
